Thank You very much — Part 2

My sister and brother are deserving of special kudos. We are together physically as a team at the moment, but are together as a team always — not only by birth, but by intention (with the help of technology).

When we began our quarterly conference calls about two years ago, it was to discuss the finer points of Mom & Pop’s care and to review financial reports. What really happened, however, was a strengthening of our bond and of our ability to communicate with each other. This ability was tested just last week and we came through it like the winning team that we are.

I write ElderBlog partly to collect information, partly to inform, and partly as catharsis. But I am certainly not alone in the care of our parents. My siblings are involved and united. I am grateful beyond words. I love them both.
