My father passed away on August 12, 2010. The events leading up to his death – and the consequences after – are many, and are chronicled here in ElderBlog.
Pop’s death affected ElderBlog in two ways: it removed half of the source material about which to write, and it caused me to wonder if this was the time to expand my commentary to include other subjects. Six months later, I began to write Sunlight Shining Through Cloud, a narrative of our times ranging from the fun to the serious.
